Laylie had her very first pumpkin patch adventure. My friend Melanee and her husband took Laylie and I to Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center. We stopped at Starbucks for Pumpkin Spice Lattes and headed up to Valley Center where it all took place. It was the perfect pumpkin patch day because it was cold and misty and it felt like Fall. There were no crowds so we were able to spend a lot of time roaming and just relaxing in the pumpkin fields.
Laylie really enjoyed herself where she was able to run around the candy store, look at all kinds of animals, run through the fields and even sit on a great big pile of pumpkins. She had fun pointing and saying "ball" to each pumpkin, and she tried to lift a few of them too, which they would not even budge cause they were just too heavy for her. She even gave a pumpkin a hug and a kiss which made everyone giggle.
What a fun experience and we definitely enjoyed the captured moments at Laylie's very first pumpkin patch visit.
