Tea Time For Our Little Boy..

This past Sunday afternoon was a moment I have been looking forward to for a long time - Afternoon Tea at The Grand Tea House with all of my family gals. It truly was such a special, wonderful, and joyous time as they all showered Holton and I with so many blessings and love. I soaked up each passing second, sipping tea and eating the most delicious scones, little sandwiches, and tiny desserts with all of the ladies I love so dearly. Every little detail that was created for Holton touched my heart and even brought tears to my eyes. During tea, I looked over at my big girl Laylie as I poured her some peach tea and thought to myself that she looked so grown up in her beautiful dress and being so proper. I love noticing little memories like these and making them last. Mom, Jessica, and Jillian, thank you for making this moment happen - a day I adore so much and I will be forever thankful. I love you and I am thanking the Lord for two amazing sisters and a Mom that I love so much. Holton's Tea gathering was magical!

It's almost time...

Jason and I pre-registered at the hospital where our little boy will be born. Walking through all the hallways reminded us of both of the girls births and how much they have grown from the day they entered the world. The time we have had with our girls has been the best days of our lives and we are so excited to experience once more. 3 more weeks and we will get to meet our little man! His room is ready, his adorable clothes are washed and hung up in his closet, lots of tiny newborn diapers are packed under the changing table, and our hospital bag is ready to go. We are ready to be a family of 5 and love him the moment he enters into our lives. I am cherishing the moments of being pregnant for a few more days with our little Holton Peter White.

Easter 2015

He is Risen and we are forever grateful! Laylie and Rael woke up early Easter morning, snuggling Jason and I in our big bed. I handed them their first plastic egg which started their annual Easter scavenger hunt to find their Easter baskets. The girls ran around the whole house from clue to clue and at the end of the scavenger hunt screams of joy and happiness came from their little bodies when they saw that they had reached the prize.

 Later, we sat together and read from the Bible about Jesus' resurrection and opened up each resurrection egg that the girls knew by heart. We sat there thanking Him for giving us this day to remember His great and mighty love for us. 

We had a full day in store with tons of Easter fun including a birthday celebration for cousin Dugan and an engagement party for Tim and Lindsay. We gathered at our family's houses where we ate delicious food, spent time with family, and hid eggs for the kids to find. To end the day in a wonderful way - we surprised Tim and Lindsay with an engagement party! Our whole family is thrilled to have Lindsay be officially a part of our crazy big family and we can't wait to watch their lives unfold together. It was a fully packed delightful Easter we must say. We are excited to be thinking about what next year will bring with even more fun because we will have a little boy to run around with on Easter 2016.
