Rael is now 2 months. It's amazing how fast time goes but I am soaking up each and every day with my sweet baby girl. She is becoming more content with this world and is becoming truly such a joyful baby. She is smiling and cooing at anyone that talks to her. She is starting to phase out her cranky hours at night and is willing to fall asleep on her own. She is in her big girl room now and looks so peaceful when she sleeps in her big crib. She is still feeding every 3 hours around the clock and loves milk. Her favorite thing is being held in anyone's arms, which we don't mind at all, and love all the snuggles she gives. Laylie and Rael already have such a special sister bond- Laylie can calm Rael whenever she is upset and Laylie has so much fun playing, holding, singing and reading to her sister. I am feeling so extremely blessed and my heart is beyond happy to have my two little angels. I never thought a two month old would bring our family so much joy and overwhelming love. We love you Rael and can't believe you are already 2 months. Can't wait to watch you grow!!

Raising Our Girls To Be God Followers
Laylie and Rael got dedicated last Sunday and it truly was the most perfect day.
Our pastor and close friend Chris did an amazing job dedicating the girls as Jason and I agreed to raise, protect, guide and teach our girls every single day to love our Heavenly Father. Jason and I each held one of our daughters in our arms, and as we stood up in front of all of our family and friends, we really felt so blessed that everyone there committed to help us as we lead our girls toward God. I pray that Laylie and Rael would love our God with all their heart and live their lives filled up with Him. I am praying that people would realize that something is different about them and that they would shine for His glory.
As Chris was speaking, he encouraged us to go out as a family and find the biggest rock that Jason could carry, and for us to take it back home as a reminder of what we stand for as a family. He also read "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself" and as he spoke those words, Laylie looked over at me and smiled because we had just been working together with her on memorizing that scripture!
We had a time of prayer for Jason, Laylie, Rael and I which made this mama tear up. What an amazing feeling to have the ones that you love and adore pray over you and your family. Laylie and Rael were each given a special Bible that had been signed by everyone. The service was brought to a close by being blessed by everyone with this verse: "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life, and you shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever!"
Afterwards, we had an awesome BBQ and hung out with our church family and friends for the rest of the day as we celebrated. What a perfect and glorious day!!

We are loving each moment with her and every inch of her. We are enjoying the snuggles, cuddles, kisses, coos that light us up, smiles that make your heart skip a beat and all the love that makes us burst at the seams. We love you Rael! Rael at 1 week -
Now Rael at 1 Month - As you can see, she is growing up big and strong which means there is more of her to kiss and cuddle.

Our Hero
My dad and Laylie have this wonderful bond. She adores her Grandpa and has ever since she was tiny. Every time we enter into their home, she is thrilled to see him and play with him. He will hold her in his arms while she strokes his soft hair or snuggles up to him while he tells her stories. It truly is the sweetest thing and it makes me so happy that my little girl loves her Grandpa. My dad has a heart of gold and he is always thinking of his grandchildren. One thing that Laylie is so happy about that her grandpa blessed her with is "earmuffs". Thanks to my awesome and loving dad, this gift has been the perfect touch to Laylie's heart and she now has less fear. As all of you know, Laylie is very scared of loud noises...and Wednesday, also known as Gardener Day, is a rough one for our Laylie. However, thanks to Grandpa, now she can put on her earmuffs and be brave enough to not be in mama's arms all day - and get this - actually wave hi over the fence while the gardeners mow our greenbelt! Thank you Dad! You truly are an amazing father and grandfather. We all love and adore you and Laylie thinks you are a hero.
Fun times of Laylie & her Grandpa
